Depersonalization and your heartbeat…

“for there is the belief, faith, and confidence in each beat”… Who are we?

I know exactly how you feel. I had the same issue for at least 10 months on end. It’s a devastating thought to think about your heart stopping. I mean, “who freakin thinks about that constantly frequently throughout every day”?  “Who thinks about their cycle of breathing every moment of the day”? I couldn’t control those thoughts for so long. It would give me a panic attack every time I thought about it. Most people have no clue. Most people have never thought about their heart’s beat or either inhale or exhale.  Believe it, I still think about it. The only difference is I now have more control over my mind. I pray about it, I ask God who controls it all to keep me strong, & I divert my mind & attention elsewhere.


1st & foremost, it’s not going to stop. You’re very deep internally. In a matter of fact all of us that deal with depersonalization and derealization are. Build your confidence in your heart by doing the right things. Eat your fruits & vegetables on the regular. In addition do eat other heart healthy foods like flaxseed, oatmeal, beans, and nuts. Be active. I like to stretch for great blood flow. Do things that make you happy and be around the stimulus of life as much as possible. The only way to get out from being so deep from within, is to get out.

2nd my friend & this is not to frighten you. Life is promised to nobody. You must learn to embrace that feeling & thought. You’re not in control of anything. Before you might have felt that way. But, you’re not the person you were before and you must let that past illusion go. Life is not meant to be traveled backwards. That’s why we live it to the fullest each moment & each day. I feel we all must let God know we have purpose & want to live. For me, my purpose is that of love & healing. I love to help others. That feeling of purpose & desire led me far away from thinking about death constantly. You must do things so that you don’t think about death & your heart beat stopping all the time. I can’t promise you the thought will go away permanently. But it will be far & in between. Next time you have that thought just focus on a random object. Focus on how that random object feels in your hand, what it looks like, what you smell. You’ll get stronger & quicker with practice. Your heart will not be stopping anytime soon. “You have to believe that yourself”. Just do your part & take care of it,  for there is belief, faith, and confidence in each beat.
